Start Date: 20 Jan 2026 / 9 Weeks
Tuesday 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
This course helps kids create an original character from scratch — step by step — using the same process professional artists use: research, shaping language, expressions, poses, clean linework, colour, light and shadow, and a final presentation.
Over the programme, students will build confidence, improve drawing clarity, and learn how to turn an idea into a finished character design they can proudly show.
Tuesday 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm – 9 Weeks

Who's it for
Designed for kids aged 9–12 who love drawing characters and want to build stronger skills step by step. Ideal for beginners and improvers — students just need an interest in drawing and a willingness to try.
(If your child is slightly outside this range but would love the course, feel free to message first.)
Materials
Students will need a sketchbook and basic drawing materials (pencils, erasers, and sharpeners). Coloured pencils are recommended for the colour sessions.

Volkan Yiğit
Your child will be guided by Volkan Yiğit, a London-based 3D animator who has contributed to major feature films, including The Batman (2022) and Aladdin (2019), as well as Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
In class, Volkan breaks down professional film workflows into kid-friendly steps: clear demos, guided practice, and supportive feedback, so students can confidently build their own original character designs.
